Moon Bees offers 3 styles of cloth menstrual pads at this time (click on names to go directly to shopping cart for each item):
1. Contoured Hemp/Organic Cotton Fleece Pantyliners:
These pads are great for very light days. They are also suitable for those last few months of pregnancy when some women need daily pantyliners. The contour shape of these pads hold them nicely into your panties without the need for "wings". They consist of 2 layers of soft, durable Hemp/Cotton Fleece.

2. Winged Pantyliners:
These pantyliners are constructed of 2 layers of soft, absorbent, and durable Hemp/Organic Cotton fleece. They wrap around and snap under panties for extra "winged" protection and measure approx. 8" long. These liners use the same pattern as the winged pads, but without the tri-fold inner layer.
3.Quick-dry winged pads:
We sew this product using a Fern & Faerie pad pattern of which we have a special cottage industry license to sew and sell. This style pad features a pad base constructed of 2 full layers of Hemp/Organic Cotton Fleece with a tri-fold layer attached (5 layers once folded). This allows the pads to be washed thoroughly and dried quickly. The tri-fold layer allows for maximum absorbency and minimum bulk!

Regular Quick-Dry Pads are approximately 8" long, and Super Pads are approximately 10" long.
Regular pads have one snap setting on the "wings". Super pads have 2 snap settings.
Storage & Washing Recommendations:
During your cycle cloth pads can be kept in a dry or wet pail until washing day. A wet pail will keep your pads from staining as much.
Using a wet pail: A good storage container I have found is a small bathroom garbage can with a tight lid and a removable inside (a pail on the inside that lifts out). They can be found at discount stores for about $15-$20. This makes it easy to take the entire pail and pour both pads and water into your machine). Spin the water out and begin wash cycle.
Using a dry pail: storing your used pads is just as easy in a dry pail. I like to line a small garbage can with a cloth liner. On wash day, I simply turn the liner upside down, dropping the pads into the wash and then drop the liner in as well. No need to handle used pads!
Washing and Drying: Wash pads on a long, HOT wash cycle using only a small amount of detergent. Too much detergent can leave a buildup. If you use a regular amount of detergent, run a second rinse. Never use fabric softening detergent- it creates a barrier and causes wetness to bead up on the fabric instead of soak in. We do not recommend bleach for every wash as it will break down the fibers very quickly. Use your own personal preference with bleach but know that it does deteriorate fabric. Line or machine dry. Again, no fabric softener!
